GL Experiences

Member of the Model United Nations team

I was a member of the MUN team during the Spring of 2024 and it was an incredible experience. During our classes and simulations I learned so many about global geopolitics and international issues. I also acquired so many leadership and speaking skills that I will carry with me forever.

Non-Profit volunteering 

During the fall of 2024 I volunteered to a Christian non-profit organization called She Ministry, and we participated on a Women's Conference in Dallas, Texas. It was such an enhancing experience on a personal level but it also helped me understand the issues of immigrant communities in the U.S., especially women. 

"Tunnel of Resilience" 

In the Spring of 2024 I participated in an immersive experience by the Center of Student Engagement in which I learned more about issues of social justice and inequality. 

FIMUN 36 Conference 

I volunteered in this Model UN Conference for High School students in March of 2024. It was such an enhancing experience where not only I learned more about international issues but I also got the chance to hear the perspectives of young minds and the next generation about it.

Model European Union team

During the Spring of 2025 I became part of the MEU team and me and my team prepared for months, researching for the MEU Competition and Shuman Challenge, on the European Union and its relation with other global actors.

In the Spring of 2024 I participated in a webinar with the Commissioner Alex J. Fernandez that talked about civic leadership and social justice for the local and international communities of Miami.
